Looking for an entertaining video? Patrick Knight, the son of my friend Lin Knight, recently finished 9th grade at The Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill. He’s a brilliant kid, and here’s a video he produced of a Rube Goldberg-type of machine he designed and built for his 9th grade physics project. He even calculated the different forces involved (but that’s not on the video, thankfully)! By the way, who the heck takes Physics in the 9th grade?????????
